Description:

This is from the chrysalis that I posted a picture of on Ispot a few weeks ago. The wings are very bright green/yellow (like a brimstone)which isn't really evident in the picture, but it had black spots on the inside of the wing. I didn't manage to get a photo of the wing inside though. I checked a few minutes ago and it's still sitting there, more than 24hrs after emerging. Is this normal? (It's been cold and wet today here).

Small White butterfly?

This could be a freshly-emerged Pieris rapae or Small White butterfly. If you scroll through the photos at http://butterfly-conservation.org/50-604/small-white.html there is a photo of the pupa, which might help with ID.
