Pied jackdaw 001.JPG
Description:

From this angle it is not so readily identifiable. I observed it collecting nesting material with it's mate. It has been around for a number of years, or at least, it's genes have.

Genetic?

Pied feathering in crows is moderately common, and is seldom genetic in nature.

It could be......

I think that it could actually be a hooded crow, but I can't be sure from this angle.

Neck feathers

The shaggy neack feathers give it away as a jackdaw.
