Willow Warbler (Phylloscopus trochilus)
Description:

In a willow tree beside a freshwater loch. Difficulty deciding between Willow Warbler (Phylloscopus trochilus) and Chiffchaff (Phylloscopus collybita). Can anyone reassure me?

Yes, pale cheeks, pale legs and apparently longish wings (though not easy to see).

Willow Chaffs...

Often confused species, and I'm none too confident in separating them in the field (unless they sing!!) but try this..
