Photographic trips

Hi folks, I am new member who has plenty of time on my hands as I am retired. I spend way too much time on my own because I don't know many people in this corner of Essex who are into nature and wildlife walks as I am. If there is anybody who is interested in sharing the occasional foray to various places of interest, could you please let me know. I have my own car and have no objection to very early or very late trips.
Thank you, Dave (not really dopey)
ps: my preferred subject is butterflies, wild flowers, fungi, low light photography, and anything else of beauty.

Dave, Have you thought of

Have you thought of joining the Essex Wildlife Trust?

You also might do well to contact your local Agricultural college - they probably teach Countryside Skills etc & have loads of real outdoorsy people of all ages. I bet they have a photography group or may even be happy for you to contribute images for teaching resources. Your college for Essex is Writtle, but you may be near Oaklands in Herts or Otley (near Woodbridge) in Suffolk. They may even get you in to run a few wildlife photography classes in the lunchtimes.
