Tree Identification Course - 7 June 2013

An iSpot tree identification course run by myself in conjunction with the Cleveland Ironstone Mining Museum and Tees Valley Wildlife Trust. This is to be the first of a regular series of wildlife identification courses gratefully supported through Heritage Lottery Grants.

Due to a staggering demand there will be two tree courses running on the 7 June 2013 (9am - midday and 1pm - 4pm). There are at the time of posting this message seven places left (each session is being limited to 12 people).

The course will be a practical one first covering the best features of trees that help with identification then giving you the chance to identify trees for yourself. Finally, there will be a session on where to find more information on trees (including iSpot of course!)and how to use your newly gained identification skills to help better our understanding of trees and woodlands.

The course is being held at the Cleveland Ironstone Mining Museum, in Skinningrove near Loftus. If you are interested please contact Jean at the Museum:

Watch this space for more identification courses or contact Jean and ask to be put on her email contacts list.
