There are 2 similar species,

There are 2 similar species, Cryptosula pallasiana (again shown in magnifcn at Aphotomarine &/or Google images, where the darker operculi (ie holes) are smaller in relation to the zooids than in Oshurkovia, & Escharoides coccinea shown at http://www.marlin.ac.uk/speciesinformation.php?speciesID=3286 where the "Individual zooids quadrangular in shape" & "separated from each other by a deep groove" give the colony a gridlike structure
