Description:

Growing from a moss filled crack in a large rock, in the middle of woodland. Think it's EPO, though there is no spotting on the leaves and the colour is nothing I have seen before in this species.

Orchis mascula

White forms of O. mascula are not uncommon, I remember seeing large numbers in the Burren some years ago. I believe, although I've not seen any that there is also a form which is white with numerous purple spots all over the flowers. I've never seen one quite like this before either.
