Description:

ID and names based on Roger Phillips 'Mushrooms' but really just a guess on my part. Seems to fit and growing on pony dung but not a typical time of year. Confirmation or correction much appreciated.

Identifications

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

As the only difference in P

As the only difference in P papilionaceus var papilionaceus and var parvisporus is that the latter has smaller spores I would go with the first.

Thanks Malcolm

I've added a revised identification for var papilionaceus.
