No organism exists in isolation. They are always associated, in a range or more or less complex ways, with a selection of other organisms. From that point of view having a way of highlighting some of those associations in iSpot is welcome.
But, just like observations, associations can be incorrectly identified. So should we have a method of agreeing with associations or suggesting alternative associations? Without such a system, incorrect associations could go unchallenged.
And what of agreements? Where a post has an association, does an agreement signify agreement with the whole post including the association or just agreement with the suggested ID?
I'm not convinced. What do others think?
