Description:

Striking shiny leaves growing on hairy stems with red/brown ribs and red/brown raised spots.
Growing beside edge of canal bank in Hertford. Similar to earlier posting today by dshubble.

Thanks never seen one and i fear this will be chopped before it gets much taller!

BE wary, the hairs can be

BE wary, the hairs can be irritant to some people and the sap from broken foliage, cut leaf stalks and flower stems causes bad burn like blisters on the skin when it is exposed to sunlight.
Quite impressive though when in flower.
