Probable Sulphur Tuft?

Observed: 20th May 2013 By: charlie streetscharlie streets’s reputation in Fungi and Lichenscharlie streets’s reputation in Fungi and Lichens

The whole clump is about 5 inches across and they're growing in a neighbour's garden. Psathyrella multipedata is just a stab in the dark really but they certainly do look distinctive. Anybody any ideas.
UPDATE:I've added a second photo a couple of weeks on and it looks likely they are Sulphur Tufts.

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
