Solitary diver just outside Lower Diabaig harbour. A joy to quietly observe this bird feeding.
No interactions present.
It's difficult to be sure, but at a first glance I thought that this was a Shag - the eye seems to be surrounded by feathers?
But I am just not sure.

Agreed - this is a young shag. The bill is too slender for cormorant.
