It could indeed, there's such a wide spectrum that it's hard to tell, but this seems close to H. hispanica.
I am told, if you actually see a Spanish Bluebell, it does not look like any of the British material, which is all hybrid (except for the natives!).
... a few years ago on the taxonomy of Hyacinthoides, which if it wasn't paywalled, might shed some light.
It doesn't, hybrids only mentioned.
