Juniper Haircap (Polytrichum juniperinum)
Description:

Growing on a dry stone wall in the Lake District. Leaflets distributed around the stem to give a star-shaped appearance; leaflets narrow and coming to a fine point. Beak-shaped capsules in the spring.

Polytrichum juniperinum

Althogh the image is not brilliant if you blow it up you can just about make out the incurved leaf margin on some of the leaves which makes this P. juiperinum, P. formosum does not show this feature.
