Honey Fungus Bootlaces

Outside the fruiting season honey fungus can be seen in the form of black bootlace-like rhizomorphs under the bark of infected trees or in the adjacent soil.


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
