4mm weevil, swept from nettles in Bristol with several Neydus quadrimaculatus

I've compared your images with a known specimen and can't see anything wrong. I think I can make out the tuberosities on the intervals near the apex of the elytra, and the prominence on the pronotum is clearly visible. However, there is quite a lot that can't be seen including the separation of the front coxae and length of the groove in the prosternum. Because of this I'd be reluctant to nail my colours to the mast.
