I used the auto complete on ispot and my book doesnt have the "c", im intrigued tho, where have you seen the spelling with the "c"?
Hi, if you enter "Sea Sandwort" and press "get recommended" you get Honckenya peploides. In all my guides it is spelt with a "C" but it could be that both are correct.
It is Sandwort not Samdwort which might help. The Latin name is Honckenya in Stace 3.
Both spellings are on the ispot autocomplete. I cant apologise enough for my typo regarding the common name.
iSpot is unreliable for spelling as it catalogues what people type in, which is sometimes wrong! It needs some quality control.
