Yellow flowering weed growing in profusion on an overgrown allotment. Flowers are small and pea-like. Leaves are deeply lobed. Flowering in May. Plant upright in habit and about two feet tall.

Many thanks. Having looked at images on the internet I think you are right about Barbarea and likely to be verna. I didn't know it was edible and grown as a food crop!

definitely verna, well done Alan. This American Wintercress or Land Cress is widely available as a cress but a bit tough and bitter for me
