Just to clarify, are the two images of the same caterpillar? Or is just very different lighting?

Let's see...

I tend to agree thanks to your lead. If so the imago should be due in the next few months so let's see eh?

As for the pics, I actually found two and have two chrysalis'. These pics were taken a while ago now so I can't be certain but looking at them I suspect they are of the two individuals and not the same one. However the Bright-line Brown-eye does seem variable in it's larval stages.

I think this id is correct.

I'm confident the image on

I'm confident the image on the left is L. oleracea but I think the second image may be of a different species - I only looked at the second image after adding the ID.

As you say, they should hatch soon. Please let me know what they emerge as!

ps the pupa are exactly the same if that helps.
