Description:

This bird flew into the reed bed. I had no idea what it was to start with - I've never seen one in flight before.
It landed, looked around, squealed like a pig (see picture 2) then disappeared, thus complying with its job description as a 'skulking crake,' so often seen in bird books.

Pig-in-the-Reeds

Brilliant birds and very odd in flight, dangly legs often trailing.

That's Right!

I was sitting in a hide and it came from my right; I saw it from the corner of my eye, and thought, "What's that?" I'm glad my next thought was, "Photograph it".
