mmmmm....

.... thanks for the ID. I thought this looked a bit odd but beyond my skills to distinguish from Great Burnet. If this is from the wildflower mix sown last year, then perhaps not such a good thing??? looking this up, does not seem to be native?

Persistence?

I find this ones lasts for many years without being a problem. Great Burnet is easily told by its deep, deep purple flowers.

Thank you for info. As commented earlier, I was uneasy with Great Burnet and leapt in with a shakey ID there. My knowledge is limited by the extent of my bookshelf on this one..... so thanks so much for your input! Still slightly concerned that seeds mixes marketed as native evidently aren't always so.
