Description:

This evergreen bush just self-seeded a year or two ago in the middle of other bushes. It's now 4 feet high and has lots of white blossom, similar to lilac in shape. It might be prunus laurocerasus (cherry laurel)

... the dwarf form often used in amenity plantings. I've never been certain where this goes taxonomically speaking.
