Common weed in garden, small clusters of white flowers, thin leaves at top, become more oval and alternate lower down stem.

When in doubt count the stamens (easy to see with a x10 lens) - C. flexuosa usually has six whereas C. hirsuta usually has four. Note the usually here so make sure that you look at several flowers.

Thanks - sure you are right, the seed pod is above the flowers.

the overall look of the plant

the overall look of the plant is hirsute but the hairiness of the stem more like flexuosa, a hard one to do from this alone. I can't decide which I am afraid. How many stamens please?
