Oh...early summer in Hampshire...nice.
It hit 20 degrees yesterday, went out without a coat for the first time. That's probably our summer done and dusted.

It's grey and cool here 7°. But the sea is sparkling, the larks sing, the Bonxies are patrolling and we're due for a tern. Some swallows are through, none seem to have settled. The heather is still brown but the sedges are pollinating. I am cutting peat today - a little early.
OK what are Bonxies ?
Sshhh - watch out for the birders!
