reason for two names

This species was described twice in error by Linnaeus 1758 p 575 http://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/item/80764#page/584/mode/1up once for the male (as rufa) and once for the female (as bicornis) because he wasn't sure they were the same species. They were first synonymised by Kirby (1802) who gave bicornis precedence.
