Aculeate?

Looks like about 12 or 13 antennal articles
- if so that makes it an aculeate not an ichneumen, but awaiting higher authority to advise........

Probably so, the small common

Probably so, the small common and that area has great attraction for many insects; some passing through, some staying. I shall try and remember to get the ID right from now on. Thank you for that.
