Bembidion
Description:

Wasn't sure what habitat to choose, it was found amongst stones on at the the side of a stream. Or a small river. A beck, perhaps.
I am sure it is a Bembidion species, but I am not confident I am following my carabid key correctly. The beetle is a smidge over 5mm long, I don't think it is B. bruxellense as in that species the second antennal segment should be darkened, which it doesn't appear to be in this specimen. B. tetracolum seems the most likely, but I would like this confirming. If better photos are needed of any aspect of the anatomy, I will do my best to obtain them.
