White masses on the stump of a decayed tree. Largest 7 X 8cm. Feel cold to touch. One broken open revealing that inside the white skin was a gloopy mess. No odour.


Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

You were right to put this

You were right to put this into 'other organisms' but iSpot treats slime moulds as fungi (sorry!), so I have moved it there for you so that the Likely ID works. And hey presto! Up pop all the other observations of R. lycoperdon.
