Pale greyish-green bird, very small. Underparts whitish.
No interactions present.
Did you hear it sing? I spent a happy hour in the park this morning chasing a couple of Chiff-chaffs that looked very similar...
Here are the photos: http://www.ispot.org.uk/node/325366
Great photos of that bird!
I normally hear the very distinctive chiffchaff song first in Spring, but none yet this year. The weather is still cold with very strong winds. The willow-warblers have been singing for a week or two in my area.
I must have heard Chiffchaffs lots of times over the years, but I've only just realised what is singing... No Willow Warblers here (Ipswich) yet, but I'm on the lookout!
We have so many Willow Warblers (and other warblers in this part of SW Scotland's hills)at this time of year, just arrived. I think I recognise its song , with a falling longer note at the end. There were several singing along the path where this photo was taken - this individual did not sing for me, as far as I can tell.
