Observed: 27th April 2013 By: charlie streetscharlie streets’s reputation in Fungi and Lichenscharlie streets’s reputation in Fungi and Lichens

I found this dead Sycamore branch this morning covered in club like fungi up to 12mm high. They are pale grey and pinkish towards the tip.The habitat is predominately Beech woodland.Anybody have any ideas as to what they might be. Thanks for looking.

Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!

Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.

    Likely ID
    Dead Moll's Fingers.
Confidence: It's likely to be this, but I can't be certain.
