Incredible how far advanced vegetation appears down there compared to up here in the Vale of York. We only have Celandine, Coltsfoot and one or two Dandelions out, basically, and things like nettles have barely started to push up at all. Incredibly late spring, but then most places have only just started to dry out in the last week. Can't believe you've got Kidney Vetch out!

Hi Ian, only 2 patches on a sheltered warm south facing cliff, most was still in early bud or not at all. Really had to search for it though. It was also quite a scramble to get there as well.

In some parts of the country there is a very large range of flower colour from cream through yellows to red. Sometimes occuring close together
