Seen in wooded area on lower slopes of Longmynd - about to flower
No interactions present.
The inflorescence structure is wrong for a Rhododendron, and also for the other common plant with a similar vegetative jizz (Prunus laurocerasus).

Thanks for IDs and agreements in respect of Spotted Laurel; wondered whether the flower form was closer to Laurel (having seen Cherry Laurel in past), but the plain-edged leaves incorrectly steered me back to Rhododendron. Title changed accordingly
