Thyme-leaved Sandwort

I took photos of small white flowers on the edge of the saltmarsh at Thornham Point and found I had photographed two different flowers. This was the one I intended to photograph.Plant prostrate among moss. Flowers small – approx 5mm across – with five pointed petals and five sepals. According to Collins the sepals should be shorter than the petals, but they look the same length if not slightly longer. The sepals, stem and leaves appear downy.
