It's amazing the number of

It's amazing the number of live dogfish recorded on beaches on Ispot this year.On crowded Oxwich bank holiday sunday I saw one completely out of water in a dip from eye movement also uninjured; & later paddling in sandy bay turned to see one motionless with head almost at waters edge, near 2 kids skimming stones & on asking them they hadnt noticed. On touching it's tail it slowly turned & headed seaward. I followed & put my small net over it's head with virtually no response; (I've previously had same response in a pool)& then left it & it turned back going roughly the same direction as me.

Slipped down a wormhole!

Just realised I'm in the 'observations in' column for dogfish, no wonder there's so many!
