Rough Periwinkle
Description:

The gastropod slightly to the right of the other 2. This is an example of the smaller size of these Rough periwinkles (L.saxatilis) that are higher up the reef. Can sometimes be mistaken for M.neritoides, not here though we don't get them here for some reason. I put it down to the chalk reef, which doesn't leave much area apart from vertical cliff for algae and therefore not conducive for this sp.
