Steve I agree it is V. hederifolia just wondered at the colour (appears lilac to me) & size of the flower - could it be one of the ssp. lucorum or ssp. hederifolia?

But I find that I can't pin at least 30% of plants to one subsp. or the other as the mix of characters is too variable, even if one looks at several plants from a population.
