Unidentified insect

Found under dead leaves etc. I thought at first glance it was an earwig, but on closer inspection, no. Unless it is an immature earwig? Would love to know what we found!

It has the general shape of a rove beetle but has two cerci (pincers) at the back which the adults don't generally have. The larvae do, so I tentatively go for one of them.
