Description:

Many examples of this young plant found on clearing an area of dead bracken not far from River Taff, during a Gwyl Taf "tidy-up" day. Ground was quite rich, black, loose soil. Little else growing on the site yet; will see what happens now bracken gone.

Plant

It's not Great Willowherb, which does not have lanceolate leaves. Rosebay Willowherb might be closer.
