The pinky/red seaweed, help ID it?

Observed: 25th March 2013 By: Bethany Buckell-MayBethany Buckell-May’s reputation in PlantsBethany Buckell-May’s reputation in Plants

Its a pinky or red coloured seaweed, although I'm sure its probably classed as brown (as they all seem to be). Its quite feathery looking and has white tips to each 'feather' sorry that I'm not much help but I'm not very good with seaweed.

this is a...

rhodophyte, a red. You will find this most places around the coast in the UK, perhaps not the east coast so much (tends to grow on rocks - not so rocky on the east coast).
