Sorry, I should add more detail. The bulge is hard to make out when the tail is curled. The overall pattern is more typical of a male.

I didn't think you were. I thought that my original comment could be more useful with some more information.
When I read my own comment back, I WAS worried that it might have been taken that way! Anyway, useful to know that the 'bulge' is not always apparent and that patterning should be considered as well.
