Can you post some ID Notes Grant?
How numerous? Habitat details perhaps..
I am going to post mine up today.
Ones here seem to have much redder legs, as you'll see.

Velvet mite

Thanks for the comment. The immediate source of the ID that I put up was George McGavin’s book DK Pocket Nature Insects and Spiders p.188. I acquired some more images of a velvet mite today (on the same wall) and I shall try and say more in due course.
