Male andrena with mandible tooth, captured on fence post at end of April. Pictures show specimen, final sternal process, genitalia and close up of antennae.
No interactions present.
Sternal process apparently not indented, which would imply A apicata.
I was thinking it might be.. but without comparative material I can't be sure. According to NBN a.apicata is not recorded from the area it was taken, so it may be a new species for the site. I'll run it past Steven Falks, see if he is interested and/or can make a solid determination.
