Description:

We've had Archiearis moths on the site for at least the last three years. Today my fellow moth-er Andy Culshaw managed to net one (which is shown at http://www.ispot.org.uk/node/322948) and I subsequently caught another (which is).
I've seen neither Archiearis species well before so am not confident separating them.

Light Orange Underwing

A male; I confirmed Light Orange Underwing on Wimbledon Common last year. Also recorded by Martin Honey (I believe) in nearby Barnes.

Wimbledon

I knew about your Wimbledon one, it was on my list for somewhere to try for the species this year. Not heard about the Barnes one before.

There are also very occasional records from Ruislip Woods.
