Description:

Approx. 15 of these objects found in blue tit box when clearing it out in Jan. No birds nested there last year. Have these been part of a food store for another species such as a mouse?

seeds

Could they be cherry seeds I have found many near mammal (mouse?) holes

Cherry seeds

Thanks. I believe that is the most likely answer. There is a large cherry tree in the area so it looks like probably a mouse has been using the tit box for storage.
