ID comment

Hi, I'm not sure what species this is but I can say it is not the Grey (Ashy) Mining Bee.

Worn

I think it is just so worn it will be very difficult to make a successful ID on this one.

As is mentioned above... with this specimen any id based on hair colour and patterning is not possible as it is both faded and abraded.

The only way to have done this will be to check out the genital capsule

Andrena cineraria is a Spring flying species (predominantly) but occasional females can still be found in early July

Thank you, Stuart. A psithyrus sp. seems to be the majority on ID, so will stick with that. I did have it down as this species, but changed my mind on re-checking all my bee shots....
