Gosh David, the birders will come very soon, you see!
One is of a wood pigeon, another is a kestrel - neither is my ID!!
A good test eh?
Though I agree it's a bird!

More than one?

I think I was assuming it was one bird in all the pictures so deciding that it looked like a Kestrel then looking at the next picture and seeing something that contradicted that ID.

No, I don't think so. Photo-gal has three 'stars'. This is just one bird she wishes she knew! Me too.

So far

I'm switching between a bird of prey of some kind or a thrush of some kind. Hopefully some more details of what was observed from the observer will help.
