I know this as Lamiastrum galeobdolon - Yellow Archangel. Interested to know why you don't hit the button to add common names to your spots?
Lamiastrum differs from Lamium in having glabrous (not hairy) anthers. It is considered a synonym e.g. by http://ww2.bgbm.org/EuroPlusMed/PTaxonDetail.asp?NameCache=Lamium%20gale...
Sorry to use this for my own education but does this mean that they are all classed as Yellow Archangel. It appears that most of the o.b's under this category do not show anthers but are all classed as Lamiastrum. The other Lamium o.b on this page does not show anthers and hasn't been agreed. Is it geographical or are both seen in this country?
Apologies if the wording above was unclear. Lamiastrum is included in Lamium in the same way that Ficaria is included in Ranunculus (or not).
