On the ground, on dead beech leaves. Consists almost entirely of whitish hairs, with some beetle cases and a few of what look like tiny particles of sand; no bones that I could find. Very little smell, and no mucous coating, but each whole dropping very tightly bound or glued together - difficult to get apart.
