Take a moment

I used to call this Witches' Butter - a 'better' name than yellow brain (I think).
Do note, however that is a parasite of another fungus in that tree you show. The host is often a member of the crust fungi, often hidden but sometimes seen by close examination.

Is the host and it is evident as the pink patches on branch.
