Does anyone know what species this fungus is?
Caution: Do NOT use iSpot to identify fungi to eat!
Some fungi are very poisonous so a mistaken ID could have serious consequences.
No interactions present.
think it may be a type of dog lichen..
P. membranacea/canina, surely, with these undulations. P. hymenina is smooth.
Quite possibly and I'd wanted to edit the notes as soon as I'd posted that but couldn't.
The lobes of P. hymenina aren't always entirely smooth though. P. canina is usually a dune species.
Needs a photograph of the underside showing the rhizines!
Thanks all! Next time I know to photograph the underside :)
